Device Development Office

Led by Dr Tan Ngian Chye, the Device Development Office (DDO) proactively engage clinicians in Surgery ACP to identify unmet clinical needs and to develop solutions with the aim of nurturing clinical innovators. Surgrey ACP, through DDO, was awarded two joint-programme grants in Oct’16, collaborating with NTU and SUTD on clinical device development.

Surgery ACP is continually doing well with the 1-year Singapore-Stanford Biodesign (SSB) programme and have sent surgical residents yearly since its beginning. Surgery ACP is the only healthcare entity with such a strong focus on device development talent creation.

The following faculty were awarded the NTU-Surgery ACP Strategic Joint Research Fund 2015 and SUTD-Surgery ACP Strategic Joint Research Fund 2015! We wish them every success!
