[Synopsis] Join us as Prof Dame Sally Davis shares from her rich experience on how primary research can be leveraged to encourage the inter-link of basic research, clinical research, translational research and bedside-bench-bedside loop. She will explain how the National Institute for Health Research was designed and established ten years ago to address the challenges in the health research landscape in England. Furthermore, she will talk about how an AMC can attract junior clinicians and medical students to the clinician scientist career pathway and encourage ways to measure research outcomes.
