General Enquiries About Registration

  1. Do I need to register if I am a speaker?
    A: All presenters (including co-presenters) must register as a Delegate for the Conference. Please note that registration fees will be forfeited in the event the presenter withdraws from the programme after the proposal has been accepted.

  2. Do I need to register if I am an abstract presenter?
    A: All accepted main authors (at least) must register as a Delegate for the Conference after the announcement of the results. Please note that registration fees will be forfeited in the event the abstract presenter withdraws after the abstract has been accepted.

  3. (For SingHealth Staff Only) If I have registered via my fund administrator for the Conference, do I still have to register online in the SingHealth Events Management Portal (EMP)? 
    A: Yes. To confirm your seat, you will still have to register online to indicate your interest for the sessions that you will be attending during the Conference. Kindly wait for the confirmation email from the Secretariat for more instructions.

  4. Does indicating interest for the sessions guarantee me a spot in the session? 
    A: 
    • Pre-Conference workshops: Kindly note that registration for the Pre-Conference workshops is on a first-come-first-served basis and there are limited seats available.

    • Main Conference workshops: As there are limited seats available, delegates must register for the Main Conference workshops if you would like to attend. Registered delegates will have a guaranteed seat. Kindly inform the Secretariat no later than 23 August 2019 should you wish to withdraw from the selected workshop(s). This will allow us to release the seat(s) to those on the waiting list.

    • Main Conference sessions (Plenary sessions, Symposium sessions, etc): The interest indication of the session is for logistics arrangement purpose. Seats for Main Conference symposia will be available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day of the Conference. Hence, you are strongly encouraged to arrive early on the day of the event.

About Funding (For SingHealth Staff Only) 

  1. The Grant Call has ended - How else can I register?
    A: Kindly check with your respective Fund Administrators on the next available Grant Call date. Alternatively, you may wish to tap on your Personal Training Fund, Department Fund, etc. Please check with your HR or department admin for more information.
    • For SingHealth Residency Faculty & Medical PECT Faculty, please contact your respective ACPs.
    • For Nursing and Allied Health PECT Faculty, please contact your institution EDOs.

  2. What other funds can I tap on if I am not eligible for any Grant Calls?
    A: You may wish to tap on your Personal Training Fund, Department Fund, etc. Please check with your HR or department admin for more information.

  3. If I am eligible for more than two Faculty Development Funds, which fund should I tap on? 
    A: Below is our recommendation for the prioritisation of Faculty Development Funds you can tap on: 
    • Residency Faculty Development Funds
    • PECT Faculty Development Funds
    • External Funds (e.g. sponsorship)
    • ACP/Institutional Funding (Internal Funds)

  4. Am I eligible for funding for Pre-/Post-Conference workshops? 
    A: Please refer to Q5 for the various Fund Administrators' contacts.

About Payment

  1. (For SingHealth Staff Only) How do I make payment via department funds?
    A: As there are different work processes across the departments, please check with your department admin for more details.

  2. Are there any discounts for bulk registration (more than 1 pax)?
    A: There are no discounts for bulk registrations.

Cancellation Policy

  1. What is the registration cancellation policy? 
    A: For replacement or cancellation requests, please notify the Secretariat in writing, no later than 23 August 2019.

    • For any replacement or cancellations received after 23 August 2019,
      • SingHealth staff who are registered under the SingHealth Residency Faculty Development Fund and PECT Faculty Development Fund will incur a no show fee of SGD 800.
      • SingHealth Residents and students will incur a no show fee of SGD 200.
      • No refund will be given for all other delegates.

    • For speakers, the full registration fees will be forfeited if you withdraw from the programme after your proposal has been accepted and registration has been made.

    • For abstract presenters, the full registration fees will be forfeited in the event you withdraw after your abstract has been accepted and registration has been made.
