Ms Choo Pey Jia

Ms Choo Pey Jia has 14 years of Nursing experience. She has clinical experience in Neurosurgery ICU, Neonatal ICU and Multi-disciplinary Wards. 

Currently, she serves as a Nurse Clinician at Sengkang General Hospital, where she is responsible for the daily operations and patient care delivery of specialist clinics for a wide range of clinical specialities. Concurrently, she holds roles in multiple workgroups that liaise with stakeholders for the opening of new clinics at the Sengkang General Hospital; including IT Steering Committee, campus familiarisation, preparation for official opening and infrastructure site inspection.

Pey Jia has a passion for qualitative research and QI projects that aim to improve patient care experiences. She had recently published a paper titled “Breastfeeding Experiences of First Time Mothers” and a descriptive exploratory study of Assistant Nurse Clinicians in Singapore. She has also participated in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement conference, presenting her project on reducing complications from long line insertion.
