Assistant Professor Peng is a Senior Consultant with the Emergency Medicine (EM) Department, National University Hospital and the founding Programme Director for National University Health System (NUHS) EM Residency Programme. She was also the Associate Designated Institutional Official (DIO) in NUHS, who started the Residency Leadership Development Programme for NUHS Chief Residents. 

Using her skills in personality and EQ profiling tools, she coaches residents to achieve optimal professional performance beyond academic knowledge and technical skills. She has authored chapters in Guide to Essentials in Emergency Medicine, published by McGraw Hill and teaches various EM topics including neuroimaging, emergency airway and procedural sedation.
