Dr Paul Dendale
Dr Paul Dendale is the Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Head of Cardiology at Jessa Hospital, Hessalt, Belgium. As President Elect of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology, he is an expert in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. Recognising the potential of telemedicine in this area, Prof Dendale’s research teams have conducted studies on the feasibility and benefits of cardiac tele-rehabilitation which involved the use of fitness trackers and remote support. 

Dr Ines Frederix
Dr Ines Frederix is currently MD Resident in Cardiology at the University of Antwerp, having completed her Bachelor in Medicine at Hasselt University in 2010 and her Master in Medicine at KULeuven in 2014. She is also an affiliated nucleus member of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology and secretary of the Belgian Working Group of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation.
